Position Summary

As the Sourcing Manager for the IT category, you will take the helm of sourcing activities within the IT Sourcing Department, managing a spend surpassing half a billion dollars annually. This role involves guiding internal stakeholders through procurement processes, sourcing suitable suppliers, drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating favorable deals, uncovering cost savings, and overseeing supplier performance to sustain our market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and propose strategic sourcing plans aligned with business priorities.
• Maintain and deliver regular updates on the Category Strategy.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and nurture current partnerships.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals ensuring advantageous commercial terms.
• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, fostering cross-functional collaboration to define and agree requirements.
• Coordinate with Legal, Contract Management, Tax, and other experts to maintain compliance and contract integrity.
• Monitor supplier adherence to contract terms and keep deal documents current.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience in Category Sourcing Management, Supplier Management, or Purchasing.
• Valid right to work in Ireland is mandatory; visa sponsorship is not available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in IT or technology strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and cost management capabilities.
• Familiarity with commercial legal concepts and contract language.
• Proven skills in project and stakeholder management across complex, multi-geography projects.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Track record of driving cross-functional teams to achieve consensus on complex deals.
• Proficiency with AI tools to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
• Certification in CPSM, CPM, CIPS, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience using Ariba, SAP, Google Suite, and Microsoft Suite software.

Work Arrangement and Hours

This is a hybrid position based in Limerick, Ireland, combining office presence with remote work days as designated. The position requires 37.5 scheduled work hours weekly.
