Role Summary

As Head / Director of Machine Learning and AI reporting directly to the CTO, you will be responsible for the comprehensive AI/ML strategy, seamlessly connecting technical innovation with business impact while leading a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and machine learning engineers.

Key Duties

• Create and implement a strategic AI/ML roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and growth opportunities for the ML and data science team.
• Design and manage scalable production ML infrastructure including large language model pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering departments to integrate AI-driven features within the company's core products.
• Develop and maintain rigorous systems for model governance, cost efficiency, and ethical AI practice.

Candidate Profile

• At least eight years of experience in applied machine learning, including a minimum of three years in senior team leadership roles.
• Advanced knowledge of modern ML techniques, deep learning architectures, and large language models, with proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
• Demonstrated success in deploying complex ML systems in production environments on leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities and strong commercial awareness.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.
