Role Overview
We are seeking a Yard Operative to join our dedicated team at the Castledermot Operation Centre. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our yard and offers a chance to work closely with vehicles in various weather conditions. Candidates should reside within commuting distance of postal code R14YK37.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and effectively to customer requests and complete assigned service orders within given deadlines.
- Ensure proper storage and maintenance of vehicles adhering to company and client standards.
- Operate handheld devices to capture images of vehicles as part of documentation processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Residency within a commutable distance of R14YK37.
- Valid full driving licence is mandatory.
- Forklift experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail with capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency with handheld devices and basic IT applications.
- Willingness to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of €29,000.
- Work schedule from Monday to Friday.
- 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, along with an additional leave day each year to honor a personal special occasion.
