Role Summary
The Dispatcher plays a vital role in ensuring vehicles are picked up and delivered on schedule by coordinating sub-haulers efficiently and maintaining exceptional customer service throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Place outbound calls to locations for vehicle pick-ups.
- Coordinate with sub-haulers to dispatch vehicles for pick-up and delivery within established company timelines.
- Verify that sub-haulers comply with company standards before dispatching.
- Make outbound calls to vehicle sellers to solicit business.
- Select cost-effective vendors to align with company budget goals.
- Educate sub-haulers about company policies and required procedures.
- Organize and archive necessary documentation properly.
- Respond to inbound phone inquiries professionally.
- Collect payments related to member deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Print checks and monitoring incoming documents via fax machine.
- Generate reports as needed.
- Manage relationships with vendors effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum two years of experience in dispatch roles.
- At least one year of experience providing customer service.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Typing proficiency of at least 45 words per minute.
- Basic proficiency with ten-key calculators and math skills.
- Comfortable using computer software, particularly MS Office Suite.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and diverse workplace.
- Attention to detail with strong accuracy.
- Familiarity with local geography and competence in reading maps.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime when required.
- Spanish bilingual skills considered an advantage.

Hourly wage ranges from $21.05 to $23.71.
