Yard Operative

About the Role

Copart is seeking Yard Operatives to join its Sandtoft Operation Centre located in DN8 5SX. The role involves working outdoors regardless of weather conditions and supporting vehicle management processes. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no bank holiday shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests and complete service orders within set deadlines.
• Safely store and maintain vehicles according to company and customer standards.
• Operate handheld devices to capture vehicle images accurately.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a full driving license.
• Experience operating equipment such as plant machinery, forklift loaders, and shovels.
• Excellent customer service capabilities and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Competency with handheld devices and familiarity with basic IT applications.
• Willingness and physical ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
