Works Inspector - Electrical

About the Role

Join Parsons Corporation in Doha as a Works Inspector specializing in electrical construction. This position entails supervising and assessing daily site activities to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery aligned with design and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of electrical construction work to verify adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and local regulations.
• Track progress and produce reports highlighting potential delays or issues, proposing solutions to maintain schedule integrity.
• Evaluate materials and workmanship quality against required standards and specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections including daily, safety, and quality assurance reports.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate tasks such as power systems installation, lighting, wiring, and control system setups.
• Oversee and enforce site safety procedures to mitigate risks associated with electrical work.
• Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure punctual delivery of materials and services.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, confirming electrical components meet functional and quality requirements prior to handover.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of electrical construction inspection experience, with minimum 5 years inspecting large infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, water supply, and sewer systems.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical construction codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inspection reporting software.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Exceptional attention to detail in verifying construction compliance and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple inspections simultaneously under pressure.
