Role Overview

This full-time position based in Kerry, Ireland, requires an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join the company on-site. The role focuses on assisting with the preparation of bills of quantities, enforcing cost control measures, and overseeing project budgets. Key responsibilities involve detailed cost planning, compiling cost reports, managing variations and dayworks in coordination with the on-site team, and ensuring complete financial management throughout all project phases.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in managing budgets and applying cost control strategies to maintain financial efficiency.
• Competency in preparing and assessing Bills of Quantities for accurate project estimation and tender submissions.
• Experience in cost planning and reporting to monitor financial progress and communicate outcomes effectively.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a precise attention to detail.
• Technical knowledge of electrical systems, with previous involvement in commercial and industrial electrical projects highly advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate successfully with project teams.
• Accreditation in Quantity Surveying.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS365 suite.
