About the Company
A boutique construction firm with over 30 years of experience delivering architecturally designed, premium residential homes across Sydney's Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches. Renowned for their commitment to design excellence and quality craftsmanship, they handle a focused portfolio of upscale residential projects.
Role Overview
As a Working Foreman, you will take a hands-on leadership role on sites managing projects valued up to $10 million. Your duties will involve leading day-to-day site activities including quality control, safety enforcement, scheduling, and coordination of trades. You will collaborate with experienced Site Managers and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising subcontractors and trade teams daily on site.
- Engaging directly in manual work when necessary to support the team.
- Ensuring the highest quality workmanship consistent with client expectations.
- Partnering closely with Site and Project Managers to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Implementing and upholding site safety protocols and maintaining site presentation.
- Interpreting and working from architectural plans and technical specifications.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Foreman or Working Foreman on premium residential construction projects.
- Trade certification with practical capability to perform hands-on tasks on site.
- Strong leadership qualities and communication skills to effectively manage various trades.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering superior quality construction.
- Located in or able to reliably commute to Sydney's Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches regions.
- Possession of a valid driver's licence and construction white card.
Compensation and Benefits
