The Workday Senior Specialist in Integration will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining smooth integrations between Workday and other internal or external systems to ensure accurate data flow and seamless interoperability. This role supports HR, Finance, and IT departments in enhancing operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and sustain integrations utilizing tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
- Build custom reports, data extracts, and transformation logic using XML, XSLT, and JSON.
- Leverage Workday Web Services including SOAP and REST APIs to facilitate real-time data exchanges.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure swift resolution.
- Conduct regular audits and validation checks to preserve data integrity.
- Keep abreast of new Workday releases and evaluate their implications for existing integrations.
- Collaborate extensively with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate these into technical specifications.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation detailing integration architectures and data flow designs.
- Ensure all integrations comply with relevant data privacy and security standards.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- More than five years of hands-on experience working with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio and EIB.
- Strong knowledge of HR and Finance business processes.
- Proficient with XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and middleware platforms.
- Workday Integration certification is preferred.
