Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Winter Service Operator, you will be responsible for carrying out winter maintenance tasks on highways, including operating trucks and multi-purpose vehicles equipped with specific snow clearing and salting technology. Additionally, you will handle the use of small equipment in parking lots and various highway facilities.

• Perform road maintenance, repair, upkeep, and care of road surfaces, roadside areas, and related infrastructure.
• Set up, maintain, and clean traffic control devices.
• Conduct cleanup operations following accidents, emergencies, or disasters.
• Clean roads, adjacent areas, bridges, and traffic islands.
• Operate and maintain small vehicles, machinery, and tools efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a valid driving license for vehicles of class CE (over 7.5 tons) with readiness to operate company vehicles.
• Ability and willingness to drive vehicles fitted with winter service equipment, such as snowplows, on federal highways.
• Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks.
• Technical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to quickly grasp new procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts during winter service periods.

Preference will be given to candidates familiar with road operations and winter road maintenance.
