Role Overview
The Window & Door Processor role is a full-time onsite position located in Lowestoft. Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end processing of window and door orders, from initial enquiries through to installation coordination. Daily duties involve interpreting technical measurements and specifications, entering order data into company software, verifying product compatibility, and preparing necessary documentation for manufacturing and installation crews. This role requires frequent communication with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to clarify requirements, confirm timelines, and address any questions or issues. Additional tasks include supporting inventory audits, maintaining updated records, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations. Success in this role depends on keen attention to detail, effective time management, and working collaboratively to support smooth installations.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, measurements, and product specifications related to windows and doors.
- Strong skills in data entry and computer operations, including familiarity with order processing or CRM systems and general office software.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities for engaging with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple orders, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Awareness and understanding of general health and safety standards within installation or construction settings.
- Previous experience in order processing, administrative roles, or fenestration (windows and doors) sectors is essential.
- Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work onsite in an office or warehouse in Lowestoft.
- Basic numeracy and literacy; possession of a relevant vocational qualification or practical experience in construction, manufacturing, or home improvement environments.
