Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance performance metrics of all diffusion-related equipment to fulfill operational targets.
• Participate in rotational shift duties to support ongoing production requirements.
• Maximize equipment uptime and reliability via planned and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics aligning with Business Balanced Scorecard (BBS) objectives.
• Adhere strictly to ISO and internal quality standards.
• Plan and manage inventory levels of spare parts and consumables to align with manufacturing demands and budget limitations.
• Develop and uphold standardized preventive maintenance operating instructions.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Assistant Engineers, enhancing their technical competencies for evolving technologies.
• Propose and implement initiatives aimed at boosting equipment capabilities, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Engage actively in Continuous Improvement Team (CIT) activities and task forces focused on equipment optimization and operational excellence.
• Lead new equipment commissioning processes including facility integration, vendor coordination, and acceptance testing to support production scale-up.
• Document corrective actions and best practices to facilitate efficient equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possesses a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or a diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Holds 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience within the semiconductor manufacturing sector, preferable.
• Experience maintaining High Vacuum systems is required.
• Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment and processes.
• Capability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and sense of responsibility.
