Role Summary

iPS Powerful People is actively assembling a database of qualified Welders to deploy for forthcoming projects across diverse industries and international sites. This initiative is not tied to a particular position but aims to link capable professionals ready to mobilize as suitable roles become available.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out welding jobs utilizing approved techniques and procedures.
• Interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and instructions accurately.
• Prepare necessary materials, tools, and work zones before initiating welding tasks.
• Examine welds to verify compliance with quality standards and project demands.
• Execute welding repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, engage in safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure correct handling of tools and substances.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors, inspectors, and team members to meet project targets.

Qualification Criteria

• Demonstrable experience as a Welder in environments such as offshore, shipyards, construction, energy, or industrial settings.
• Possession of valid welding certifications including but not limited to MIG, MAG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW or equivalents.
• Competency in reading and understanding technical plans and specifications.
• Strong dedication to quality output, safety procedures, and craftsmanship.
• Experience in multicultural and international workplaces is advantageous.
• Possession of valid offshore and medical certificates.
• Effective communication skills along with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in teams.
• Flexibility to undertake rotational shifts and assignments at international locations.
