Job description
About the Role
This position involves working as a welder focused on repair activities related to Gas Turbine components. Assigned duties may vary as guided by the mentor to develop the necessary welding technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute welding repairs on Gas Turbine parts following the prescribed Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
- Carry out repair work on Gas Turbine components adhering to provided work instructions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma, technical college certification, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of three years experience performing welding tasks.
- Strong familiarity with welding processes along with a valid welder qualification certificate issued by the current employer.
- Experience in welding stainless steels and alloys including Nickel base and Cobalt base materials.
Preferred Attributes
- Competency in reading and interpreting part drawings as well as process prints.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively under supervisor direction.
