Weekend Cleanup Student - Sawmill Operations

Position Overview

West Fraser’s Williams Lake Lumber Division invites applications for the role of Weekend Cleanup Student. This position offers hands-on involvement in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of sawmill machinery and surrounding areas, supporting smooth operations and a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and adjacent workspaces.
• Sanitize lockout zones during operational halts.
• Support processing personnel with various tasks.
• Manage material handling and lifting duties.
• Execute routine maintenance activities as assigned.
• Perform any additional tasks as required by supervisors.
• Strictly follow all safety measures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Candidate Profile

• Capability to function effectively in an industrial manufacturing context.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts when necessary.
• Physically fit and able to endure repetitive tasks.
