Job description
Overview
This role provides essential sales support to the hotel's sales organization and supports individual properties by covering staffing gaps due to turnover, leaves, or vacations. The Wedding Specialist contributes to driving customer loyalty by delivering exceptional service throughout every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill the duties of Senior or Destination Sales Executive when assigned, especially during team absences.
- Support sales efforts across hotels, including new openings, renovations, and priority properties identified by the regional team.
- Meet group revenue targets by managing incoming group opportunities exceeding peak room capacity.
- Analyze the competitive market and use negotiation and creative selling to close business and contract agreements.
- Assist in selling and executing group sales promotions.
- Organize and lead site inspections, coordinating with sales and operational staff.
- Provide expert insights on local attractions and events to enhance client experience.
- Update sales channels to accurately reflect property information and coordinate sales support per leadership direction.
- Collaborate with business development and sales teams to secure local and out-of-market business.
- Maintain customer and account data precisely within sales systems.
- Support account penetration and growth through comprehensive sales and marketing initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and internal teams to exceed expectations and drive loyalty.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED plus 4 years relevant experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or front desk roles; OR
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field plus 2 years relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a university degree in the related fields, lodging sales experience, account management skills, multi-brand familiarity, and proficiency with Marriott sales systems such as SFAWeb, MRDW, and MarRFP.

The position is located at Wardha Road, opposite MIHAN Flyover in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It is a full-time management role that requires on-site presence.
