Loss Prevention Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols throughout the property and secure rooms, assisting guests with room access when necessary.
• Lead emergency response drills and perform routine physical safety and hazard inspections.
• Investigate incidents, conduct interviews, and carry out key audits for controlled access areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to ensure premises security.
• Authorize and document access to restricted zones, providing assistance during emergencies including administering first aid/CPR when needed.
• Prepare detailed reports while maintaining strict confidentiality, releasing information only to authorized personnel.
• Manage disturbances in line with company policies, resolving safety hazards, and escorting unauthorized individuals off property.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol control laws and summon assistance using established code protocols.
• Assist in training and coaching employees, modeling fair treatment policies and serving as first point of contact for related processes.
• Adhere to all company policies and report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and language, greet guests warmly, and fulfill service needs with genuine appreciation.
• Foster positive teamwork and communication within the workforce to meet collective goals.
• Conduct inspections and operate in varied physical conditions, including standing or moving for long durations, lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs unassisted, over 75 lbs with help), and navigating confined or uneven spaces.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years experience in a related loss prevention or security role.
• Possession of at least one year of supervisory experience.
• No specific licenses or certifications required, though some jurisdictions may have additional licensing requirements.
