Job Overview

This role is open to fill an immediate vacancy at Howmet Aerospace located in Georgetown, Ontario, Canada. The employee will be engaged in wax injection duties including managing wax injections, extrusion, and billets with a focus on consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive wax injections and control the quality of wax injections, extrusions, and billets.
• Inspect all wax injections and confirm results with the team lead or supervisor to ensure quality standards.
• Adhere to set protocols for reporting any deviations or trends that result in scrap materials.
• Manage the stock of necessary materials to ensure a smooth workflow and maximize productivity.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail in all tasks performed.
• Set up and maintain air guns and required tools to support specific activities efficiently.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Uphold the company's values, code of ethics, and Environmental, Health & Safety programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and execute activity instructions accurately.
• Capability to operate hoists safely and effectively.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Information

Starting wage offered is $20 per hour.
