Key Responsibilities

• Remove gating from castings by holding them flush against various belt sanders until the gating is completely eliminated.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed to support operations.
• Adhere to the company’s values and ethical standards consistently.
• Comply with Environment, Health & Safety policies and programs at all times.

Candidate Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety protocols, operational and maintenance guidelines, and procedural manuals.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Basic computer skills competent to look up work instructions.
• Strong aptitude for following detailed instructions carefully.
• Mechanical aptitude relevant to job functions.
• Capable of handling castings weighing from 10 ounces up to 20 pounds.
• Experience and ability to operate hoists safely.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity to execute delicate tasks and judgments.
• Sound judgment skills to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

Compensation

The salary offered ranges between $20 and $23 per hour.
