Job description
Position Overview
Become a sorter at the Grimma delivery center and help ensure timely handling of packages and mail.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of €16.42 according to tariff rates, considerably above the minimum wage.
- Paid onboarding and training led by experienced colleagues.
- Work period available from November 1, 2026, supporting with 15 hours weekly until December 24, 2026; fixed-term.
- Provision of free work gear, including safety shoes and protective gloves.
- Work schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 6:00 or 7:00 AM.
Job Responsibilities
- Sorting package shipments by postal code, street, and house number using a handheld scanner.
- Collecting incoming container bins.
- Emptying storage compartments and transporting mail containers.
Candidate Profile
- Consistently reliable and highly motivated.
- Physically capable and enjoys manual labor tasks.
- Able to communicate effectively in German.
- Team-oriented work style.
