Warehouse Supervisor - Accra/Kumasi

About the Role

Join Shalina Healthcare Ghana as a Warehouse Supervisor where you will take charge of managing all warehouse activities to guarantee smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding warehouse personnel, maintaining precise inventory records, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring that daily operations support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse functions including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching stock
• Ensure incoming shipments are accurately verified against delivery documentation
• Inspect products for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report findings as necessary
• Assign tasks and oversee the performance of warehouse assistants and other team members
• Maintain organized and safe product storage in compliance with company standards
• Guarantee accurate and timely order processing in accordance with customer or internal specifications
• Lead and perform regular inventory and cycle counts and reconcile stock discrepancies
• Investigate and resolve any inventory irregularities
• Enforce hygiene and safety standards consistently throughout the warehouse
• Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and security of warehouse facilities
• Supervise loading and unloading of trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to streamline operations
• Coach, train, and develop warehouse staff to enhance productivity and effectiveness
• Prepare and deliver operational reports to management
• Ensure proper operation and upkeep of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience

• HND or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in warehouse management, including at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Solid understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
