Job description
About Loop Lab
Loop Lab is India’s pioneering brand dedicated to functional hair accessories, emphasizing products that are gentle on hair. As a swiftly expanding direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, our efficient warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that every order reaches customers accurately, promptly, and in excellent condition.
Role Overview
We seek a proactive Warehouse Supervisor responsible for managing everyday warehouse activities including maintaining stock accuracy, order processing, packaging standards, and order dispatch as we scale our D2C volumes. This position ensures that every item in inventory is properly tracked and that outgoing orders are correctly fulfilled on the first attempt.
Key Duties
- Ensure precise inventory records for all stock-keeping units using Zoho Inventory, including single items, bundles, and various product lines.
- Regularly perform cycle counts and comprehensive stock audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
- Oversee receipt, quality inspection, and organization of inbound inventory from manufacturers and vendors.
- Alert leadership about low inventory levels and reorder needs to prevent stockouts.
- Manage daily picking, packing, and shipping operations to meet same-day or next-day dispatch targets.
- Maintain excellent packaging quality and uphold brand presentation standards for every order.
- Collaborate with logistics providers such as Shiprocket and evaluate alternative partners for scheduling pickups and dispatches.
- Ensure accuracy of shipping labels, invoices, and related order documentation.
- Handle return-to-origin processes including inspection of returned products, restocking salable items, and tagging defective or damaged goods.
- Support cash-on-delivery order processes by coordinating reverse logistics and managing risks.
- Keep detailed records distinguishing restocked inventory from write-offs.
- Supervise warehouse personnel by delegating daily responsibilities, monitoring performance, and enforcing SOP compliance.
- Train new staff on packaging protocols, SOPs, and safety measures.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to minimize errors, reduce turnaround time, and decrease costs per order.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on dispatch volumes, inventory status, discrepancies, and return rates.
- Promptly escalate operational challenges such as courier delays, stock variances, or quality concerns.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, preferably within D2C or e-commerce sectors.
- Proficient with inventory and order management software such as Zoho Inventory, Shopify, or equivalents.
- Knowledgeable about e-commerce logistics solutions (e.g., Shiprocket) and familiar with COD and RTO processes.
- Highly detail-oriented with a sense of responsibility for inventory accuracy.
- Basic ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for compiling reports.
- Experienced in managing and motivating warehouse teams.
- Effective problem solver capable of making independent decisions during high-demand periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in D2C beauty, personal care, or fashion accessories industries.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S warehouse management practices.
Benefits
- Participate in the growth of a rapidly scaling D2C brand and hold a pivotal role with founder-level visibility.
- Influence and shape warehouse operations and standard procedures from an early stage.
