Warehouse Storeperson

Role Overview

Join Aggreko as a Warehouse Storeperson located in Kewdale, Perth. You will play a pivotal role in supporting daily business functions at the Perth depot, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of spare parts through effective planning, preparation, documentation, and packaging of components.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material planning and respond to both local and project-related material demands.
• Pick, pack, load, and unload items precisely as per packing lists provided.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team and key stakeholders to guarantee prompt delivery of unavailable parts, escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with logistics for booking and collection of air and sea freight shipments.
• Monitor and maintain on-time delivery KPIs while actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure accurate item picking, allocation, transfers, and documentation to achieve or surpass inventory accuracy targets.
• Review stock requests for the Central Store and communicate estimated arrival times to relevant team members.
• Process received stock transfers into the Central Store and manage order releases for allocated parts, liaising with purchasing for shortages.
• Identify inventory shortages proactively to prevent delays in project timelines.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a warehouse storeperson with solid knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Current forklift license is essential.
• Possession of an MR truck license is advantageous.
• Proficiency in computer usage, including experience with ERP or inventory systems such as Infor M3 or MoveEx.
• Physically fit and able to handle warehouse duties.
• Valid driver's license.
