The Warehouse Site Manager role based in the UK involves complete oversight of the warehouse operations at the UK facility. The manager is accountable for efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while upholding safety, cost efficiency, and operational excellence. Leading a skilled team and aligning with commercial goals, the position ensures business growth and superior customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall warehouse site operations, including scheduling incoming goods and processing volumes.
  • Hold full responsibility for budgeting and P&L for the site, ensuring financial discipline.
  • Build, develop, and maintain a skilled, adaptable full-time employee team aligned with business demand and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Work cooperatively with resource suppliers to adjust workforce dynamically to operational needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence to support business evolution.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage consumable suppliers to optimize costs.
  • Implement service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with Merchandise Planning teams concerning volume forecasts and shipment prioritization.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience managing warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations with comprehensive P&L ownership.
  • Proven leadership skills, capable of recruiting, developing, and directing high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong financial literacy including budgeting, cost management, and vendor negotiation expertise.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics software, and implementation of best practices.
  • Background and understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong analytical and organizational capabilities; fluency in English essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Hiring Process

  • Initial phone screening with talent acquisition team.
  • Interview with Director of Operations (1 hour).
  • Interview with VP of Operations (45 minutes).
  • Top Grading interview and reference checks.
  • Final offer and decision.
