About the Role

McHale is seeking a dedicated Store Person to join their Goods Inward team on a permanent full-time basis, reporting directly to the Inventory Manager. This role centers around managing the Goods In section within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all tasks related to the Goods In area in a busy warehouse setting.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming deliveries to ensure standards are met.
• Apply labeling and packaging consistent with the company's branding.
• Efficiently locate materials and optimize warehouse space usage.
• Enter goods receipt data into the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
• Maintain stock control through location audits, store layout planning, sequencing, and recording weights.
• Restock frequently moved inventory items and manage consumable supplies.
• Uphold a clean and safe working environment adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in a busy warehouse or stores environment, preferably within manufacturing, is desirable.
• Possession of a full clean Irish driving licence is mandatory.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player and proactively contribute across cross-functional teams.
• High motivation, enthusiasm, and capability to work under tight deadlines while taking advice from others.
