About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager & Incharge to lead end-to-end warehouse operations within the supply chain and logistics division of Attero Recycling Pvt Ltd. This role involves overseeing everything from inventory management and logistics to fleet operations, ensuring safety, compliance, operational efficiency, and timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse activities including receiving (inbound), storage, picking, packing, loading, and outbound dispatches.
- Oversee inbound processes such as unloading, weighing, segregation, quality checks, Goods Receipt Note (GRN), barcoding, and put-away of materials.
- Supervise outbound operations including picking, weighing, loading, and dispatch, ensuring quality and quantity verification with prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintain proper packaging, labeling, and storage to ensure product safety and traceability.
- Keep accurate inventory records using WMS/ERP systems, conduct frequent cycle counts, physical stock verifications, and audits, investigating any discrepancies or damages.
- Maximize warehouse space utilization and oversee material location management.
- Ensure safe handling, segregation, and storage of e-waste, lithium-ion batteries, electrical and electronic equipment, and recyclable materials following EHS guidelines and statutory regulations.
- Drive 5S principles, housekeeping, safe material handling, and continuous process improvements.
- Manage fleet and transportation daily operations: plan routes, optimize load capacities, coordinate with transport vendors, monitor vehicle utilization, turnaround times, route adherence, and transportation costs.
- Handle reverse logistics including collection, transport, receiving, segregation, and processing of returned or recyclable items, optimizing route plans and turnaround times.
- Plan manpower allocation, monitor team productivity, provide training and performance evaluations for warehouse staff, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Manage warehouse vendors, manpower agencies, and transporters effectively.
- Ensure availability and upkeep of warehouse equipment such as Material Handling Equipment (MHE), weighing machines, scanners, printers, racks, and docks, coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering KPIs including inventory accuracy, turnaround times, picking and dispatch accuracy, productivity figures, vehicle utilization, transportation costs, space utilization, loss or damage, reverse logistics efficiency, and compliance with EHS and 5S standards.
Candidate Profile
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- At least 2 years in a warehouse leadership role such as Warehouse In-charge or Manager.
- Demonstrated experience managing fleet operations and transportation.
- Hands-on experience with route planning, e-commerce logistics, and reverse logistics processes.
- Prior exposure to manufacturing, recycling, e-commerce, retail, or large-scale warehouse settings preferred.
- Experience dealing with electronic goods, electrical equipment, e-waste, lithium-ion batteries, or bulky materials is a plus.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Expertise in warehouse and inventory management principles.
