Job description
Position Objective
The primary goal of this role is to prepare and maintain the dining area in a clean, organized, and fresh condition before service begins, along with serving guests efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in morning cleaning of the restaurant.
- Sanitize all service utensils prior to each service.
- Support the captain waiter in setting up the restaurant.
- Maintain personal cleanliness and uphold high hygiene standards.
- Assist the captain waiter in preparing mise en place.
- Transport meals from the kitchen to the dining hall.
- Help the captain waiter serve food plates to customers.
- Replace ashtrays and refill glasses with water during service.
- Clear and clean tables once the meal is finished.
- Transport dirty plates and glasses to the dishwashing area.
- Work under the supervision and instructions of the captain waiter.
