Role Overview

We are looking for a professional, customer-oriented Waiter or Waitress to become part of our vibrant hospitality team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences by providing welcoming, efficient, and attentive service. This role demands someone organized, detail-focused, and passionate about surpassing guest expectations in a bustling environment.

Responsibilities

• Greetings and seating guests warmly and enthusiastically to ensure they feel valued from arrival.
• Setting up tables following company standards, including linens, silverware, glassware, and place settings.
• Presenting menus and offering detailed insights on dishes, beverages, daily specials, and personalized recommendations.
• Taking precise food and drink orders while paying attention to guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Serving food and drinks professionally, efficiently, and courteously while adhering to hotel performance standards.
• Ensuring top-notch food hygiene and safety by maintaining equipment and following strict safety protocols.
• Performing opening and closing duties for the assigned dining outlet, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup.
• Assisting in monthly inventory audits of equipment and supplies to maintain operational readiness.
• Managing guest inquiries and resolving issues empathetically to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinating with kitchen and bar teams to guarantee prompt and smooth service delivery.
• Maintaining composure during peak hours while handling multiple tables simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a formal dining setting.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills focused on exceptional customer service.
• Fluent in English; additional language abilities are advantageous.
• Experience with MICROS POS systems or equivalent point-of-sale technologies.
• Deep understanding of food and beverage service protocols and standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy during order taking and service.
• Good physical endurance to stand, walk, and carry items for long durations.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with multitasking capability.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and sanitation best practices.
• Team player who maintains individual accountability.
• Outstanding communication skills paired with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to work diverse shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
