Overview of Role
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Admin & Government Relations Supervisor based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This critical position functions as a liaison between the company and governmental authorities, overseeing administrative operations and ensuring compliance with pertinent regional and national legislation. The role involves managing pivotal government relationships, coordinating internal administrative tasks, and supporting strategic initiatives that necessitate government engagement and regulatory conformance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, officials, and regulatory bodies at all jurisdictional levels within Saudi Arabia.
- Oversee administrative workflows including scheduling, documentation, filing, and comprehensive records management to promote organizational effectiveness.
- Design and execute government relations strategies that align with company goals and comply with Saudi regulatory frameworks.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory filings, licensing documents, permits, and compliance reports to appropriate authorities.
- Keep abreast of any changes in governmental policies, laws, and regulations that might influence company operations.
- Organize meetings, conferences, and official events involving government stakeholders and representatives.
- Maintain detailed databases and monitoring systems tracking governmental interactions, permits, and compliance schedules.
- Generate reports, briefings, and official correspondence for senior leadership related to government relations and regulatory matters.
- Ensure all administrative and governmental dealings adhere strictly to applicable laws and internal policies.
- Contribute to proposal development and presentations for government contracts or collaboration opportunities.
- Coordinate with other departments to collect necessary information for government submissions and communications.
- Manage budgets and monitor expenses associated with government relations activities.
Required Qualifications
- Between three to five years of experience in administrative management, government relations, or public affairs.
- Proven track record in managing relationships and interactions with governmental agencies and regulatory entities.
- In-depth understanding of Saudi Arabia’s regulatory landscape, business customs, and government processes.
- Excellent proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken; competence in Arabic is strongly favored.
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Experience handling regulatory compliance, licensing procedures, and permit administration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and database management tools.
- Strong analytical abilities to comprehend and implement regulatory obligations.
- Skillful in stakeholder engagement and fostering professional relationships.
- Well-versed in government relations best practices and diplomatic communication techniques.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision in documentation and reporting.
- Experience in strategic planning and policy analysis is advantageous.
