About the Role
Aatash Norcontrol Ltd. is urgently recruiting experienced Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) Operators to support safe and effective vessel management at Ruwais and Das Ports, key maritime facilities in the UAE.
Candidate Profiles
There are two distinct applicant categories:
- Merchant Marine Professionals: Candidates must hold an STCW II/1 Second Officer (Second Mate) Certificate of Competency, have at least three years' experience as a Navigating Officer on merchant vessels, possess an IALA Accredited VTS Operator (C0103.1) certification, and have at least one month of practical VTS experience.
- Ex-Navy Professionals: Should be former Petty Officers from the Indian Navy, with a minimum five years' experience operating VTS, as well as holding the IALA Accredited VTS Operator (C0103.1) qualification.
Working Hours and Benefits
- Roster consists of 56 consecutive days working followed by 28 days off.
- Daily shifts last 8 hours.
- Accommodation provided is shared bachelor quarters.
- Local transportation expenses are fully covered.
- Meals are supplied.
- Airfare for return trips to India during off-duty periods is included.
- Gratuity will be provided according to applicable UAE labor laws.
