Job Overview
The Voice Specialist will oversee and manage termination costs, voice revenue, cost, and margin, ensuring effective maintenance and monitoring of voice quality KPIs in collaboration with technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage termination costs along with voice P&L components including revenue, cost, and margin.
- Maintain and oversee voice quality KPIs working closely with the technology department.
- Coordinate with MA&RA teams for precise reconciliation and billing processes, address disputes promptly, and liaise with international carriers.
- Negotiate corridor agreements with operators primarily from APAC and Middle East regions and manage domestic voice commercial and operational activities.
- Serve as the commercial lead for traffic and billing management and work with finance teams to ensure correct recording of interconnect costs.
- Collaborate with technology teams to monitor and uphold voice quality KPIs.
- Undertake any additional projects or responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications or Information Technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience specifically in voice interconnect.
- Strong track record influencing cross-functional teams to support marketing plan delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of voice services and maintaining strong relationships with voice carriers and operators.
- Expertise with numbering ranges, short codes, and compliance with local regulations.
