VMC Milling Machine Operator

Job Overview

Penguin Petroleum Services Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced VMC Milling Machine Operator to ensure efficient and continuous production. The candidate will handle machine operation, setup, and upkeep, leveraging expertise in NC programming and machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret NC programs and engineering blueprints accurately to operate VMC milling machines.
• Prepare machines for production by selecting and fitting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices.
• Perform regular cleaning and preventive maintenance to maintain machine performance.
• Use precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify workpiece dimensions.
• Monitor machine functionality during operation and make adjustments as required to uphold quality and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve issues arising during production processes promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to facilitate smooth production workflows.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of an ITI certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of four years' experience working with VMC milling machines.
• Solid knowledge of NC programming and G-code.
• Competence in reading and understanding blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with machine tooling, fixtures, and workholding systems.
• Skillful in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities for addressing production-related challenges.
• High attention to detail and ability to adhere to instructions carefully.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including possible overtime.
