Role Overview
Join Sigma Surgical as a Vertical Machining Center (VMC) Machine Operator responsible for setting up and running VMC equipment in line with production demands and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate Vertical Machining Centers adhering to required production standards.
- Interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to plan machining techniques and outline specifications.
- Supervise machine functions ensuring accuracy and quality, making necessary operational adjustments.
- Carry out routine upkeep and troubleshoot issues to maintain VMC machinery efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Examine finished components using precise measurement tools to verify compliance with detailed specifications.
- Accurately record production metrics and machine operation data for quality control and reporting.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to enhance the machining process and address operational challenges.
