The Visual Merchandising Executive, reporting to the Brand Director and based in Dubai, UAE, plays a crucial role in implementing visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand's identity and drive commercial success. This position transforms creative briefs and product directions into clear visual displays and guidelines that enhance customer engagement and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Specialists and global teams to create merchandising concepts and fixture designs tailored to Middle Eastern consumers and various store layouts.
• Coordinate with suppliers on fixture design, technical drawings, production, and installation, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective execution.
• Develop and update planograms to maximize product visibility, optimize customer flow, and support storytelling through category segmentation and color coding.
• Manage fixture and pricing modifications for seasonal launches and assortment changes across stores timely.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate merchandising standards, display effectiveness, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee maintenance of permanent fixtures, including supplier coordination and inventory ordering.
• Support logistical aspects of store openings, renovations, relocations, and closures with merchandising installations and brand movements.
• Forecast grid requirements and manage the implementation of retail activations and temporary merchandising projects.
• Create activation concepts aligned with global brand guidelines and adapted to local consumer insights.
• Communicate merchandising updates and toolkits in both English and Arabic to store teams.
• Prepare competitive benchmarking reports bi-annually and manage visual merchandising budgets monthly, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 3 years of in-store merchandising experience within the beauty sector in the GCC region.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience in planogram development and a solid understanding of visual merchandising principles.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Creative eye and strong design sensibility.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
