Job description
Role Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser at H&M, you will be crucial in curating an engaging and consistent shopping environment by applying visual standards and driving commercial excellence to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Upholding company values, you'll have a significant influence on both your personal success and that of H&M.
Responsibilities
- Implement visual, commercial, and styling arrangements adhering to store protocols and schedules to improve the shopping experience and increase sales performance.
- Regularly analyze sales data, manage stock levels, maintain garment quality, and identify as well as prioritize opportunities in both visual presentation and commercial areas in coordination with Store Management.
- Leverage fashion trends and competitor insights to mentor and train the store team to optimize customer interactions and service quality.
- Represent the brand with positivity and professionalism in all customer engagements.
- Assist the Sales Market team with projects involving store expansion and development.
Work Environment
You will collaborate within a lively Store Team encompassing Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, and other key roles depending on store size. Connecting with the wider Area Team enables sharing insights and fostering collective success. Together, your team will create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel confident to explore current trends and timeless styles.
Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise in visual merchandising and commercial strategies within a dynamic retail setting, possessing a problem-solving approach.
- Competent in interpreting sales reports and understanding the selling equation to inform merchandising decisions.
- A genuine passion for fashion paired with a commitment to delivering outstanding in-store customer experiences.
- Driven to enhance the customer journey and achieve sales targets.
- Creative, inquisitive, and proactive in approach to work.
