Position Overview
This role focuses on crafting, presenting, and communicating visual concepts to enhance brand presence and promote products and services within retail outlets. The Visual Merchandiser is charged with training store staff to execute visual merchandising activities aligned with merchant standards, managing daily to seasonal visual presentation tasks.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent brand identity and high presentation standards, including both window and in-store displays, ensuring they are eye-catching and leverage sales opportunities.
- Apply and uphold brand-specific visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
- Coordinate store displays to align closely with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Create and develop effective floor plans to enhance visual appeal and maximize customer engagement.
- Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures, and guide the layout within the store to optimize merchandising.
- Document all changes in merchandise display by taking photographs for records.
- Employ creative lighting techniques for window displays to attract customers.
- Maximize exposure of new product lines through re-merchandising efforts that reflect emerging trends.
- Design store layouts organized by product categories.
- Ensure all merchandise is presented appropriately to enhance sales potential.
- Gather and analyze feedback and reviews concerning merchandise effectiveness.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with operations and brand management teams to drive sales growth.
- Work jointly with Visual Merchandising Manager and sales personnel to meet commercial objectives.
- Participate in new store pre-opening activities and conduct timely visits to confirm adherence to brand standards.
- Perform research on current market trends and consumer lifestyles to inform visual merchandising strategies.
