Job Overview
The Visual Merchandiser position is tasked with planning, coordinating, executing, and overseeing visual merchandising efforts across all showrooms for the Twyford, Micasso, and Frencia brands. The role ensures showrooms consistently reflect approved brand standards, optimizes product displays, manages new product rollouts, and continually assesses and improves showroom performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and deploy monthly showroom inspection schedules for all brands under management.
- Coordinate and supervise both scheduled and surprise showroom audits to maintain compliance.
- Ensure prompt submission of showroom inspection reports from Cold Visit teams, Shop Guiders, and managers.
- Maintain accurate records of showroom audit approvals and documentation.
- Analyze showroom audit scores and results to highlight performance weaknesses and improvement areas.
- Authorize showroom checking plans and validate performance outcome data.
- Maintain showroom environments in alignment with established visual merchandising standards.
- Develop follow-up plans to rectify non-compliance or showroom issues identified during checks.
- Provide training to new and existing team members on showroom checking standards, procedures, and report submissions.
- Conduct monthly meetings to review showroom results, challenges, and corrective strategies.
- Generate summary reports of showroom performance metrics and progress.
- Monitor and enforce the Shop Guider and Salesman incentive program and recognize outstanding performers accordingly.
- Work closely with the Products Department to gather assets and information required for new product introductions.
- Manage the rollout of new product displays including the creation and implementation of effective room effects and display concepts.
- Oversee inventory and distribution of marketing and visual merchandising materials, ensuring proper documentation and replenishment schedules.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly showroom performance and visual merchandising reports, analyzing data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Business Administration, Retail Management, or related disciplines.
- Additional certifications in Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing, or Brand Management are advantageous.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Showroom or Brand Management.
- Experience managing multiple brands and showroom standards is preferred.
- Background in product launches, display management, showroom audits, and marketing material oversight is beneficial.
Skills and Abilities
- Expertise in visual merchandising and presenting products effectively.
- Understanding of showroom standardization and retail display principles.
- Strong abilities in planning, coordination, and organization.
- Capable of analyzing data and producing detailed reports.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and can identify compliance shortcomings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and coordinate teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.
- Effective in teamwork and stakeholder communication.
