Position Overview
The Vineyard Operator role located in Langhorne Creek involves joining the Vineyard Operations Team to perform critical viticulture tasks driven by seasonal needs. This hands-on position under managerial supervision focuses on maintaining vineyards at exemplary standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute assigned vineyard activities following predefined protocols.
- Operate and service vineyard machinery and equipment safely.
- Notify management promptly of any irregularities or concerns.
- Accurately document operations and assist with inventory management.
- Foster clear communication with supervisors, coworkers, and contractors.
- Consistently adhere to health, safety, quality, and environmental practices.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
- Possession of a current driver’s license.
- Competence in basic literacy, numeracy, and communication.
- Willingness and ability to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Motivated, proactive, and open to learning new skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in vineyards or agricultural settings.
- Fundamental computer skills.
- HR (Heavy Rigid) vehicle license.
