Position Overview

The Villa Host position is essential in delivering a personalized and seamless experience for villa guests, overseeing their journey from arrival to departure. This role entails close collaboration with multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, Concierge, and Transportation to ensure guests receive tailored services aligned with the distinctive SLS style.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and own the guest experience for assigned villas from pre-arrival preparation until departure.
  • Analyze guest profiles, including preferences, VIP status, and special occasions, to curate personalized experiences.
  • Conduct thorough pre-arrival inspections of villas to verify cleanliness, amenities, and maintenance adhere to SLS standards.
  • Deliver warm welcomes and support smooth check-in and check-out processes within villas.
  • Establish authentic relationships with guests acting as their main point of contact throughout their stay.
  • Proactively anticipate guest requirements and coordinate requests with relevant resort teams ensuring their fulfillment.
  • Organize dining, spa and wellness activities, resort entertainment, transportation, celebrations, and other bespoke experiences.
  • Oversee villa services including in-villa dining, minibar restocking, laundry, luggage handling, and other amenities.
  • Ensure all villa supplies and special arrangements reflect guest preferences accurately.
  • Create memorable, individualized moments to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Promptly address guest feedback, concerns, or service issues while facilitating appropriate recovery measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest preferences, requests, and stay details within the hotel's systems.
  • Stay informed on daily arrivals, departures, VIP movements, resort happenings, and operational updates.
  • Coordinate guest departures including transportation, luggage, billing, and any special requests.
  • Uphold exemplary standards of guest privacy, discretion, personal grooming, and professionalism.
  • Adhere strictly to SLS's service standards, operational procedures, and health and safety protocols.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Possession of a diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or a closely related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of luxury hospitality experience, ideally in villa operations, butler services, guest relations, front office, concierge, or comparable guest-interfacing functions.
  • Experience working in luxury resorts, private villas, residences, or upscale hospitality environments is advantageous.
  • Strong aptitude for guest relations with an ability to foresee and cater to bespoke guest needs.
  • Thorough understanding of luxury hospitality service standards, etiquette, privacy protocols, and discretion.
  • Good knowledge of Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Concierge, and broader resort operations.
  • Comfortable navigating Property Management Systems and other industry-standard hotel software.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Proficient English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Flexibility, proactivity, and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting.
