Job description

About House of Daisy

House of Daisy is a bridal and celebration wear brand located in Gurugram, focused on fashion retail in the bridal segment.

Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Videographer to handle all video production elements internally, producing content ranging from Instagram Reels and store films to product videos and campaign shoots. This is a comprehensive role entailing shooting and editing without outsourcing, supporting the brand's visual storytelling end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop a monthly video content calendar.
  • Prepare detailed shot lists, mood boards, and shooting plans ahead of production days.
  • Coordinate with design and store teams regarding product styling, availability, and scheduling models or clients.
  • Organize locations, lighting setups, props, and technical gear before shoots.
  • Independently film all brand-related video content onsite and on location, handling camera, gimbal, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Ensure garment details like embroidery, fabric flow, and colors are accurately captured on camera.
  • Edit and finalize all video content within the agreed monthly targets, including color correction to maintain true product colors.
  • Add elements such as music, text overlays, transitions, captions, and subtitles adjusted for diverse platforms.
  • Provide final cuts in appropriate formats and aspect ratios for Instagram, YouTube, the website, and paid advertisements.
  • Consistently produce Instagram Reels that align with trending formats, stylistic stories, product reveals, and behind-the-scenes footage, meeting weekly quotas and rapid turnaround (24-48 hours) for timely content.
  • Maintain a visual language consistent with House of Daisy's brand standards, assuring high-quality output benchmarked against premier Indian bridal and couture labels.
  • Create product videos for e-commerce platforms aligned with new collection launches, including on-model and detail shots.
  • Manage digital asset archives meticulously, labeling and backing up raw and final footage promptly for easy retrieval and reuse.
  • Monitor content performance metrics such as views, engagement, saves, shares, and reach to inform ongoing improvements with the Marketing Manager.
  • Keep updated on emerging trends in video formats, editing techniques, and platform dynamics.

Candidate Profile

  • Two to five years of videography experience, ideally within fashion, bridal, jewelry, lifestyle, or luxury retail sectors.
  • Proficient with mirrorless or DSLR cameras, gimbals, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment.
  • Skilled in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; familiarity with After Effects and CapCut is desirable.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage full video production cycles independently.
  • Excellent eye for framing, lighting, color accuracy, and rhythm in video presentation.
  • Availability to work during weekends and peak seasons such as weddings and festivals.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Gurugram or Delhi NCR.
  • Ownership of filming equipment is beneficial but not a strict requirement.
