Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor position based in Thane. The editor will transform raw footage into polished video content tailored for social media and digital campaigns. Responsibilities include cutting and sequencing footage, adding transitions, syncing audio, applying color grading and sound adjustments, and embedding motion graphics or graphic elements where necessary.
Collaboration with creative strategists, graphic designers, and content teams is critical to align project goals. The Video Editor also handles organization and management of media assets, ensures consistent adherence to brand styles across videos, and prepares final video files optimized for various platforms and formats. Contributing creative ideas to enhance storytelling and supporting timely project delivery are essential parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in video production and editing, capable of managing end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficient in color grading techniques to maintain visual consistency and mood.
- Skilled in creating and embedding motion graphics and graphic elements to enrich dynamic social media and digital content.
- Experience with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or comparable tools.
- Strong knowledge of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific best practices.
- Exceptional visual storytelling capability, attention to detail, and efficiency in fast-paced collaborative environments.
- Educational background or training in film, media, design, or related disciplines preferred; a portfolio demonstrating relevant video work is required.
