Role Overview
This full-time remote role involves editing and assembling raw video materials into polished content used across marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, educational modules, and social media channels. The Video Editor partners with creative and marketing teams to interpret project briefs, organize footage, apply transitions and effects, perform color grading, and ensure videos adhere to brand identity and messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble video footage to create engaging content that reflects CareOff Companion's values.
- Utilize transitions, effects, and color grading to maintain consistent visual aesthetics.
- Design and incorporate basic motion graphics, text overlays, and visual elements that enhance communication.
- Optimize video formats for delivery across diverse platforms.
- Maintain organized project files and digital asset libraries.
- Adapt videos based on stakeholder feedback and meet established deadlines.
- Contribute innovative ideas to highlight the brand’s focus on trust, safety, and compassionate caregiving.
Requirements
- Strong command of video production and editing techniques, including raw footage handling and narrative creation.
- Proficiency in video color grading to ensure unified visual tone and quality.
- Experience creating motion graphics and graphic overlays such as titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
- Fluency with standard editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and motion graphics tools such as After Effects.
- Excellent visual design sense with an eye for detail and ability to uphold brand consistency across formats.
- Good communication skills enabling effective collaboration and responsiveness to feedback in remote, cross-functional teams.
- Capability to manage multiple projects independently, work effectively under deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic, mission-driven setting.
- Previous video content creation experience in caregiving, healthcare, or consumer technology sectors is advantageous; candidates must present a relevant portfolio.
