Role Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow. The incumbent will oversee the entire post-production process for educational and promotional video content. Responsibilities include editing raw footage, structuring timelines, and sharpening the narrative flow to produce compelling videos. Daily tasks also require color correction, incorporating motion graphics and visual effects, syncing sound, and maintaining brand consistency throughout all productions.
Collaboration is key in this role, working closely with trainers, content developers, and marketing personnel to effectively translate learning goals into captivating video materials. Additionally, the Video Editor will organize files, manage export formats, perform quality assurance, and ensure prompt delivery of finished videos.
Candidate Profile
- Skilled in video production and post-production editing to craft polished video assets.
- Proficient in video color grading techniques to improve visual uniformity and aesthetics.
- Experienced in creating motion graphics and other graphic elements to elevate viewer engagement.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, along with graphic and motion tools including After Effects and Photoshop.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, paying close attention to detail, especially with educational subject matter.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with diverse onsite teams.
- Experience in projects related to education, training, or social impact is beneficial.
- Possession of a relevant diploma or degree in film, media, communication, or equivalent practical experience.
