About the Role
Magizh Productions seeks a highly skilled and imaginative Video Editor to spearhead digital content creation and promotion across various social media platforms. This position involves producing captivating videos tailored for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram reels and shorts, movie promotions, political campaigns, and other promotional content. Candidates with prior involvement in TV or YouTube channels, production houses, or political media outlets will be especially valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and edit high-quality videos suited for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram reels and shorts.
- Craft promotional content for movies and political campaigns.
- Create engaging videos including interviews and event coverage for digital platforms.
- Design marketing collateral such as brochures, posters, thumbnails, and social media creatives.
- Manage YouTube channel operations including content upload, optimization, and promotion.
- Facilitate Facebook and Instagram uploads, content scheduling, and promotional activities.
- Assist in video productions and conduct video shoots using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to deliver professional-grade content within deadlines.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro for content creation and editing.
- Familiarity with Canva for graphic design tasks.
- Experience managing and promoting content on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Competency in creating reels, shorts, and promotional videos.
- Basic video camera handling skills for shooting purposes.
- Creative storytelling and superior editing capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Professional background in TV channels or YouTube channels.
- Experience working within production houses.
- Exposure to movie promotional content editing.
- Involvement with political party or media channels.
- Personal management of a YouTube channel is a plus.
- A comprehensive portfolio showcasing video editing and digital content production expertise.
Compensation and Career Growth
The salary range is between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000 monthly, contingent upon skills and prior experience. The role offers opportunities for salary increases based on performance and career progression.
