About the Role
Join Spiralyze as a Video Editor specializing in LinkedIn content, where you'll craft high-quality, engaging videos focused on A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), landing pages, and design themes. This founder-led position involves working with talking-head footage, screen captures, website examples, captions, charts, and basic motion graphics to produce refined marketing videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and refine short LinkedIn videos ranging from 30 seconds to 3 minutes in length.
- Transform raw recorded material into polished and compelling social media content.
- Incorporate elements such as captions, callouts, zooms, screenshots, charts, and simple motion graphics.
- Maintain a consistent and clean color grade to ensure videos have a professional appearance.
- Improve audio quality through fundamental sound design and leveling techniques.
- Present complex, data-rich topics clearly and appealingly to engage viewers.
- Create strong, attention-grabbing openings that hook the audience quickly.
- Edit longer videos down to concise, shareable clips.
- Uphold a premium, clean, and data-centered brand style throughout all content.
- Collaborate effectively with a U.S.-based team, responding promptly and constructively to feedback.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of professional experience in video editing.
- A solid portfolio showcasing social media video projects.
- Proficiency in pacing, storytelling, caption integration, and visual arrangement.
- Experience with talking-head style, educational, or business-related content video editing.
- Competency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents.
- Good command of written English.
- Dependable, well-organized, and capable of working autonomously.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Background in B2B, SaaS, marketing, design, or technology content.
- Familiarity with motion graphics or Adobe After Effects skills.
- Knowledge of editing styles common to LinkedIn and YouTube platforms.
- Interest in topics related to A/B testing, CRO, user experience, or digital marketing.
