Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Video Editor located onsite in Ahmedabad. The role focuses on planning, editing, and finalizing video content highlighting the salon’s services, brand narrative, and customer experiences. Responsibilities include organizing raw video files, editing for marketing and social media campaigns, applying color grading, incorporating motion graphics, and ensuring the final videos meet brand guidelines. Close cooperation with the creative team is essential to maintain visual consistency and support content calendars. The editor will tailor video formats for various platforms, stay updated with beauty and lifestyle trends, and manage file organization and archiving.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and structure video shoots and footage to tell compelling visual stories.
• Edit videos for social media and marketing purposes, ensuring aesthetic quality and brand coherence.
• Apply color grading techniques to maintain consistent visual appeal aligned to brand standards.
• Create motion graphics including titles, transitions, and overlays to enhance engagement.
• Manage video assets and file archiving systematically for easy retrieval.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams, incorporating feedback and meeting deadlines.
• Adapt video formats for different channels such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Keep abreast of current trends in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle content for relevant storytelling.

Qualifications & Skills

• Expertise in video production processes including shoot planning and narrative structuring.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents.
• Skill in video color grading to enhance and unify the visual palette.
• Capability to design and integrate motion graphics to boost video content appeal.
• Strong sense of visual composition, pacing, and integration of music suited for diverse video formats.
• Experience producing content tailored for social media platforms focused on fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
• Effective collaboration, receptiveness to feedback, and adherence to project timelines.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organizational capability, and adaptability to fast-paced client environments.
• Educational background or certification in film, media, design, or related fields is advantageous.
• A demonstrable prior portfolio showcasing video editing skills is required.
