Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Video Editor based in Rajkot. The role entails organizing and editing raw footage, selecting optimal takes, and assembling them into coherent, engaging video stories for both client and internal assignments. Responsibilities include editing video segments, implementing transitions and effects, color correcting, and integrating motion as well as static graphics when necessary. Collaboration with directors, producers, and other creative members is essential to align with project aims, maintain brand standards, and meet deadlines. Additional duties include managing project files, exporting finished videos in specified formats, and keeping abreast of industry tools and trends to enhance quality and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in video editing and production across various formats and platforms.
- Ability in video color grading to sustain visual coherence, mood, and overall image quality.
- Competence in motion graphics to generate animated titles, effects, and visual elements.
- Skills in graphic design to support visual layouts and overlays within video projects.
- Familiarity with leading editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic understanding of audio editing, mixing, and sound design to ensure clean and balanced audio tracks.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit suited for a team environment.
- Relevant academic background or training in film, media, design, or related disciplines is advantageous; submission of a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is highly encouraged.
