Role Overview

This full-time role is based on-site at The DOT Institute in Rewari. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing a variety of video content including lecture recordings, promotional materials, and social media clips aimed at advancing the institute's educational and marketing objectives. Key daily tasks involve assembling raw footage, incorporating graphics and motion elements, performing basic color correction to elevate visual quality, and integrating audio components to ensure clarity and engagement.

The candidate will collaborate directly with academic faculty and marketing personnel to conceptualize video projects, uphold consistent visual branding, and guarantee punctual content delivery. Additionally, the role includes managing media assets by maintaining an organized digital library and contributing creative suggestions to enhance audience engagement and brand visibility.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in comprehensive video editing and production processes.
• Competent in video color grading techniques to sustain a uniform and appealing visual presentation.
• Skillful in creating and integrating motion graphics that support instructional content and branding efforts.
• Experienced with key industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
• Familiarity with fundamental audio editing, understanding of various file formats, aspect ratios, and specifications relevant to social media and video platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and adept time management capabilities, able to meet strict deadlines within a dynamic academic setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with educators, marketing teams, and management.
• Preferred possession of certifications or diplomas in video editing, multimedia, film production, or related disciplines; prior experience in educational or coaching contexts is advantageous.
