Video Editor

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to craft compelling documentaries, CSR films, podcasts, reels, and other digital media content from original footage through to final production. The editor will be instrumental in shaping storytelling by working closely with directors and producers to ensure creative visions are realized effectively.

Key Duties

• Edit a variety of video content including documentaries, corporate social responsibility films, podcasts, reels, and digital videos starting from raw footage to the finished product.
• Handle and integrate diverse materials such as interviews, observational clips, B-roll, archival video, music, sound effects, and graphics into cohesive edits.
• Partner with directors and producers to fully comprehend creative goals and implement their feedback throughout the editing process.
• Tailor video edits optimized for different digital platforms, including YouTube and Instagram.
• Maintain meticulous organization of all project-related files, footage, sequences, and final output files.

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent narrative skills coupled with a strong attention to detail.
• Solid grasp of editing techniques including rhythm, pacing, music integration, and sound design.
• A knack for discovering engaging stories within extensive raw footage.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
• Fundamental knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and basic visual effects.
• Capable of working autonomously while effectively collaborating with creative teams.
• Preferred experience ranges from 1 to 3 years in video editing, though exceptional portfolios may mitigate less experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment dedicated to producing high-quality visual content.
