Role Overview

The Video Editor position based at the Indore office is a full-time role focused on transforming event footage into engaging video content. Responsibilities span from selecting and organizing raw clips to editing highlights for weddings, corporate events, and promotional media. The editor will apply transitions, effects, graphics, music, and ensure alignment with branding and client requirements.

Key Duties

• Editing and assembling event videos including wedding highlights, corporate event footage, and promotional clips.
• Collaborating closely with creative, production, and marketing departments to capture event narratives and meet deadlines.
• Applying video effects, motion graphics, and basic color grading.
• Handling audio syncing and refining sound quality in videos.
• Exporting final videos in formats suitable for various platforms, including social media.
• Maintaining a well-organized archive of media materials.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient with industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with motion graphics and effects, including use of Adobe After Effects and animation templates.
• Understanding of video codecs, formats, resolutions, and best practices for delivering content online and on social platforms.
• Skills in color correction, audio editing, and synchronization to ensure polished final productions.
• Capability to craft compelling stories from raw footage, emphasizing narrative flow and emotional engagement.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively partner with multiple teams and clients.
• Strong time management to juggle several projects and meet tight timelines without quality loss.
• Awareness of social media content trends, especially around event highlights and promotional videos.
• Prior experience editing videos for weddings, corporate events, or similar is an advantage.
• Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Design, or an allied field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
